Number 2 Par 4
Blue 377 / White
360 / Gold 319 / Red 257
You'll find a
large pond and bunker between you and the green on this challenging
par 4. With a straight-forward tee shot with a driver or
fairway wood, the second shot approach over the pond and trap can
play havoc on even the most experienced player's mental game.
With only a sliver of green visible, it can be tempting to over-club
to ensure dry, grassy conditions after the second shot.
However, those long of the green, finding the back bunker, will
experience a bunker shot to a green sloping away from them into the
front bunker with water as a back-drop. An approach played with
precision and confidence can produce a most satisfying par.
